Hot rolled steel bars in China can be divided into four grades according to their strength:

Wire rods can also be used as raw materials for cold drawn low carbon steel wires and double steel bars.
Grade I steel bars: widely used in large and medium-sized reinforced concrete structures, such as the main bars of bridges, dams, port projects and building structures. Grade II steel bars can also be used as prestressed steel bars for building structures after cold drawing.
